GRAY
Forming only two percent of the population, Grays are the rarest color of simourv. Always female, Grays usually have slender yet powerful builds and graceful, lithe movements. They are the largest simourvs, and Northern Grays stand between 62 feet and 70 feet in length. Because of their high fertility rate, Grays mature slowly, as when they turn three, they rise once a year and produce clutches of 10 to 28 eggs. The more clutching grays in an Eyrie, the smaller the clutches become. Grays are gray across most of their bodies, although some have markings of brown, orange, or black as well. Grays are the leaders of the Eyrie, and they act like it. They tend to be focused and driven. They are utterly devoted to leadership, although some are ambitious and driven while others are caring and dedicated. They are all extremely intelligent. Grays almost always bond to females, and they only bond to people who will make good leaders, capable of handling responsibility. It is believed that Grays only bond to heterosexual or bisexual women.

BLACK
Only smaller than their Gray sisters, Blacks are the largest of the male simourv colorations. They can reach up to 62 feet in length, making some large Blacks as big as some smaller Grays. Blacks are the leaders of the Eyrie, and they act like it. Most of them show confidence when ordering around the other members of the Eyrie and also presenting themselves in leadership positions. Some can be quiet, ruling through their presence alone, while others act as gentlemen and are more communicative. Blacks can fly when they reach two years old; however, most reserve themselves for gray flights, They are often flirts regardless of their discretion. Northern Black simourvs are black across most of their body, although they often have gray or white highlights. Southern Black simourvs are black across most of their body but have small markings in brighter colors, especially around their heads or wings. Blacks normally choose men, and always people who are capable of handling responsibility and leadership. They are believed to choose exclusively men who are heterosexual or bisexual.

RED
While Blacks are the biggest male simourv color, Reds are almost as big. They can reach sixty feet when they are full grown, and they make up eight percent of the population. Reds have a thicker and stockier build than their Black brothers, and they represent the brawn of the simourvs. They are warriors through and through, and Red simourvs tend to act as such. They are known for their determination, stubborn tendencies, and rage. They also tend to be hyper masculine and quite arrogant. Capable of catching any color when they mature at two years, although most likely to catch Tawnies, most Reds will chase any flying female simourv. Reds most often bond to men. They need riders with a lot of emotional strength and confidence to keep the Reds in line. Reds are believed to prefer heterosexual or bisexual men, though they are known to bond to women. When a red does choose a female rider, the rider is assumed to be lesbian by the Eyrie.

TAWNY
Tawnies are the mothers of the Eyrie, even if they are not actually the parent of most of the other simourvs. They are always female and make up five percent of the population. Tawnies are the second largest female simourv color, and they can grow up to fifty-nine feet long. They tend to be sweethearts, the souls of the Eyrie, and they often care for their Eyrie. They tend not to argue or act violently outside of battles with koxi, where they can hold their own. While Tawnies are almost always kindhearted, they are not always very intelligent, and some of them are slow to process or downright ditzy. Tawnies are always a brown color across their entire bodies, although they usually also have highlights in brownish reds, oranges, or yellows. They can also have some markings in black. Tawnies reach sexual maturity around three, and they irregularly fly in the years that follow. Tawnies can lay, although they produce tiny clutches of one to three eggs, however; in Baziala, a Tawny has not clutched in years. The general belief is that the steady number of Gray clutchings reduce Tawny fertility. Tawnies choose mostly female riders who need help or need extra care, or who are nurturing. They are known to sometimes choose male riders; like female red riders, male tawny riders are assumed to be gay.

BLUE[/size]
Blues are the most common purely male simourv color. They make up thirty-five percent of the population. They are smaller than the other male simourvs, only reaching at most fifty-four feet in length. Usually, they range around fifty feet. Unlike Blacks and Reds who share similar builds in their color classes, Blues all have different builds. They show much less variety in their personalities, however. Blues are always calm and hardworking, They represent the working backbone of the Eyrie, and they follow orders extremely well. Some Blues are obsessed with order and following the hierarchy, while others are more supportive of the overall health of the Eyrie without sticking so closely to the structure of the Eyrie. Once they turn two years old, Blues will chase any females besides grays that rise. They most often catch Greens, but they can catch Rainbows or Tawnies. Blues are solid blue across their bodies, although they sometimes have markings in white or black as well. When selecting a rider, they choose males most often, although female Blueriders do occur. They select hardworking individuals as riders, people capable of following orders and living under the hierarchy of the Eyrie.

Green
The most common and the most colorful simourvs in the Eyrie, Greens make up around 40 percent of the population. Greens are always female, and they are the fighters of the Eyrie. They have a variety of personalities, but one aspect they have in common is that they have personalities that fluctuate. Greens tend to be emotional, and they do not stick to one emotion for very long. Greens also tend to broadcast their emotions, and they do not like to keep their feelings hidden. For that reason, they are often flirtatious and talkative, if not both at the same time. Even though they are infertile, Greens still rise to mate after they sexually mature when they turn two years old. They can rise more than once a year, although most do not rise more than once or twice a year. Greens are always green across their bodies, and they have yellow and black markings. Greens sometimes have orange markings as well. They are the second smallest species of simourv, and their sizes vary between 32 and 48 feet in length. They are slender in build, which makes them extremely fast and lithe in the air. While Greens prefer female riders, male Greenriders are also common. They will select any human emotionally available to them who is able to handle their emotional outbursts. They choose a wide variety of personality types.

The smallest and the second rarest of simourvs, Rainbows can be both male and female. They are the brightest of all simourvs, having colors brighter and flashier than even their Green sisters. Reaching only thirty-seven feet in length at most, Rainbows are slight in build. They are fast, however, and able to maneuver well in and out of tight spaces. Rainbows have at least three colors which are evenly spread out on their bodies. Usually, they have four or more colors. Out of all the simourvs, Rainbows sexually mature slowest, not even considering rising or chasing until they reach four years old. While male Rainbows have been known to chase Tawnies, they usually prefer other Rainbows or small Greens. Females are infertile. They are intelligent and witty, and most are also kind, sensitive, and caring. They are energetic, enthusiastic, and optimistic, no matter what the circumstances. Rainbows are not selective in their choices of riders, and they will pick males or females, regardless of their own gender. They like riders as cheerful as themselves.
