Lesser Sands
Below the ground beneath the Winglet Caverns rests a tight cavernous space with a hot, sandy floor, designated the lesser nesting sands. The room is small, barely large enough to contain a gray simourv, and usually kamrovs are the only beings to nest there. If two grays or a gray and a tawny clutch at once, however, sometimes the second gray will lay in the lesser sands. If the area does not contain eggs, then the winglets sometimes sneak down to spend some time in the lush heat of the sands. If the winglet master or the senior phoenix were to find them, however, the winglets would be harshly punished.
