This is, essentially, just in case. If you have to leave, and we need to decide what to do with your characters, what would you prefer happen to them, or what do you want to make sure never happens to them? Would you like them to be adopted, killed off, made an NPC, sent off somewhere into the wild? We'll do our best to do what you want, but please give us at least a second choice, in case your first choice isn't possible for some IC reason.

Under no circumstances is any character or creature I play to be adopted out.
Ideally, I would like the character to fade out into inactivity and become an NPC that does not get adopted. REferencing them in play is fine ("Oh, did you hear so and so was demoted from their rank?"), but I'd like to be the only player. If that's impossible, this is what I'd like to happen in order of preference, with most preferred beign at the top: -sent off into the wild, or sent to an off-camera location as a transfer. -Killed off -If their color or rank is absolutely absolutely needed and you can't simply demote them, I would like their existence retconned. So, if i have Rider Y of black Z, and you absolutely need THAT slot in play, I would like Y and Z to be striken, and the slot for 'a blackrider of the creator's design, with a bond of their design', opened instead of Y and Z being adopted out.

I would also not like any character I create or own to be resent out. Ideally, they would be sent out to some distant unnamed Eyrie or the wild, so if I ever do potentially return, I shall be able to reuse my old characters. If this isn't possible, I would consent to their deaths. If one of my characters is involved heavily in a roleplay or gravely needed and I, for some reason, cannot stay to at least finish it out, then I'd prefer they were made NPCs.

It depends on the character. If it is a lower ranking character, especially one that I don't rp much I will be fine with the being adopted *also if it's a character I adopted myself*. However, if it's a higher ranking character I'd prefer them to be killed off or moved. I tend to play them more because I don't want them to go to waste and be neglected like I've seen with some members at various sites once they impress something high ranking, so I tend to get attached to them. Truth be told though, I'll just at least pm an admin with what I want everyone to do and compromise with whatever is needing to be done for those characters.

I would also prefer my characters to fade away into the background.
I don't want them rp'd by anyone else.
If all else fails they can be NPC's but not adoptable.
Thanks!

First choice would be to have T'ryn and K'ai head offscreen - Gally and T'ryn could go try and prove something about their collective toughness by trying to fly to the forbidden continent. If I never made it back, it can be assumed they were killed there. If I did, then perhaps they were simply so badly wounded by the critters there that it took them a really long time to heal up and make their way home. Likewise, K'ai might go on a quest to find some more wild greys to either start a new Eyrie or update the gene pool - either way, he'd be off in the wilderness. Again, assumed dead by koxi if I never reappear, or else just gone for a really long time on his quest if I do.
In case you can't tell, death would be the preferable second option - especially for T'ryn and Galleph.
For K'ai and Sobekeph, as a black pair I'd be willing to let them stay on as NPCs if you need them, although it looks like the ranks of blackriders/temps/NPCs are getting filled out pretty solidly, so if they aren't vital to a plot point, go ahead and find a way to off 'em for dramatic effect, and the admins can NPC their doom however they please. Since blacks are supposed to be fairly rare, it doesn't make sense to have a random black pair hanging around as NPCs and throwing the numbers off when plenty of players will probably want to play a current rider or make a try for a black hatchling.

I don't really mind if anyone adopts a character I make, but my first choice would be to have him/her made into an NPC. If that isn't possible, I would like it if someone adopted my character. If I happen to get a high-ranking pair, my top choice is to get them killed off, and second, adopted.

I don't have any particular preferences what happens to my characters, so long as there aren't any drastic personality changes (outside of character development, obviously).
